1) HoM might be a pve thing but the pvp is still incredibly weightless among the rewards.
2) The miniature rewards are ridiculous. Most people just deleted the stupid things as they arrived (I sure did). Plus this can not be completed by playing the game (like all others): you MUST trade them. The price/availability is another issue, some white minis are already closing on the 100k mark.

For the mini issue all you need to have done is play for a long time....Ive got the 30 level in the HoM and I have never bought a single mini

if u have the patience to do LDOA, you can do 50/50 without needing LDOA. LDOA only counts as the same as all the other titles and the cap for titles is very low. thus it's just a huge time waster. other time wasters include max chest hunter, glad 3, hero 6, lux/kurz 12, rare minis, multiple tormented weps. all useless because there are much easier things for 50/50.

yay for hanging the hardcore players

I'm guessing this was meant to tell people who dedicated Kanaxai's and Island Guardian's or whatever are stupid, but they are just as ridiculously expensive dedicated. Anything that is less than a stack of ecto isn't a big deal. The rarity and expense of the mini's still make sense as well, now that there is barely a difference on what you dedicate won't change the price because there are not a large amount of MOX compared to Siege Turtles, I managed to get 3 with all 3 of my 1st years so far.

Relax, they're minipets.

I enjoyed leveling my perma pre to level 16. Didn't bother deathleveling. Same goes for my PvP titles. Your complaint doesn't sound hardcore to me, just lifeless.

Some of you guys should ease up a bit with your expectations. I've bought and added all 11 tormented weapons to my HoM about 2 weeks ago, yet you won't see me complain that I only receive rewards for one. When I spent all of my money on torms (and I literally mean all of it), I was perfectly aware of the "risk" that they might just not be worth anything in the HoM, and so was everyone else.

And personally I do not consider that a waste of money, as I actually like having them in my HoM.

This is true if you define usefulness solely in terms of the HOM. Because the HOM is such a big and sudden bonus, it may overshadow others, but it's not hard to maintain some perspective.

Additional salvage and lockpick chance, no?

Lux/Kurz skills are based on these, no? AoHM isn't shabby to begin with and only gets better.

Not really, don't forget that GWAMM also carries over to GW2, and you need those titles for that (kurz/luxon being the cheapest compared to treasure and wisdom). So it ain't a waste if you also want to carry over GWAMM

The only thing I'd like there to be in HoM calculator is the listing of what minis you have, to make yourself a checklist.

let me start by saying that ive played gw since release, im 18/50, because i play for fun never for grind.

it looks like the only rewards are trivial anyway(minipets, common greens/whites, basic armor, nothing really helpful right?) no gold is that correct?

so i guess im just wondering those of us that just play for fun, i know the minority, were not really missing out that much huh? but at the same time not getting anything right?

35/50 :P

Depending on the reward structure, I was contemplating whether or not to grind the harder achievements [cartographer, vanquisher, etc.] if the rewards in GW2 were worth it.

I'm so glad I won't have to now.

Well played Anet. Well played.

Yes, that would be useful... but they might have deliberately NOT done that, so that nobody can find out who owns the super-rare mini's, and specifically target them with tailor-made hacks/scams. Or something.

Very good update, I love the calculator page. But ...

Gamer title needs to count as PvP!

I hope Anet just missed this when coding titles, but gamer is pure PvP (Dragonball, snowball, even rollerbeatle races are vs other humans) and should count as such.

People were sitting at 22-25 maxed titles b4 EoTN and HoM were even thought about, people played for the glory and the challenge and still continue. People also brought high end minis way b4 the HoM. You have your entire view of the game turned upside down because the HoM is just an incidental freebie, not a goal for hardcore players, only casuals have to work for it.

Ya I was a bit disappointed to hear my r3 gamer didn't count as a PvP title . Especially when it took me 2 years of grinding out Costume Brawl. Which is a form of PvP believe it or not.

Actually for my main account it isn't about the points at all, I'm on 43/50 already and only need some hero armours, a few more mini's and four non-destroyer weapons. So for my main account, I'm gonna stay in pre, cos with GWAMM already I just don't need the title on my monument, unless other titles than GWAMM transfer over to GW2.

My 2nd account though is only on 8/50 so I probably will need to sear it. It was just that I distinctly remember there being discussion about being Anet putting in some mechanism so the title could be posted whilst not having to sear. And seeing as the LDoA question doesn't appear to have been answered, I'm wondering if Anet know's themselves.

Very good point. That hadn't occurred to me.

I have a whole 45 Gamer points, but I do agree with you. This should be a PvP title.

Can't you get a list of your dedicated pets from visiting the monument in your hall?

I don't think the monument tells you what it's missing, but the hom.gw2 website does, which in my case is the Imperial Phoenix, and a number of hero armours, so I'm not far away.
